acrylic, household paint and woodstain on reclaimed wood
40 x 36 x 4 cm
This series was produced in response to spending many days exploring the Lea Valley Park, North of London from 2012 - 2016
Over time landmarks and their surroundings took on an almost religious significance.
Electricity pylons became the giants of Albion, the man-made chalk pits became lakes of fire, wires overlapping the sun and moon produced the music of the spheres and all surroundings became interwoven into this personal mythology.
